Rain Sweeps Through North

Lately the northern-most Vermont ski areas (Jay, Stowe, Sugarbush) have been benefiting from recent snow storms, making this an excellent early season.

However, on Thanksgiving Day they got heavy rain. Jay and Sugarbush got 2 inches of rain! And now cold weather.

I think you'll be smart to wait another week at least before making the long trek north.
