MLK Weekend Should Be Sweet

North Country has improved dramatically over the last week and conditions are now quite good. Today, Friday, it's been snowing all morning and they're expected to get five to eight inches. Consistently cold temps have also allowed the mountains to blow more snow.

The weather is unstable and may get quite cold and windy, so keep your eye on the weather forecasts. But the snow is good, at least on the groomers. Conditions in the woods are still recovering from the rain and ice of the last couple of weeks. But they're beginning to open up too now that new snow has fallen.

For all you Bostonians, you don't even have to travel two hours plus. The local areas have good conditions too. I was at Blue Hills on Thursday night and the skiing was good. I expect Wachusetts and other local areas are as good if not better.

So shake off those winter blues and get out there and enjoy the winter.
